Stitch-a-thon for 10-31-08

Stitch-a-thon for 10-31-08
found at Let's Stitch.

We will stitch from 6pm-midnight (according to your time zone). Please let me know if you are joining the SAT and don't forget to let us know what project you will be working on and to post a before pic before 6pm on Friday night and an after pic once the SAT is over :)

Plan to be stitcing the christmas trees in the latest issue of Cross Stitch Crazy. There are about 12 of them. I'm going to see how many I can get done in that time. There are several that can be done rather quickly. One is just the same color blue.

Here is what I got done during the time, since all the trick or treaters were coming by.

Weekly Challenge for the week of 10-20-08

found at Let's Stitch.

This week's challenge will be to stitch on anything Seasonal. Remember the challenges are not mandotory and only for fun and to help you stitch on projects that may otherwise be neglected. The challenges change weekly to accomodate different designs. If you wish to take part in the challenge, please let us know what project you will be working on.

Hope to finish the candy corn for my sister-in-law

Looking for SAL for 2009

I know starting early - I'm looking for SAL for 2009. I hoping to maybe learn to stitch on linen (haven't ever done).

I'm looking for fun projects. Quilt patterns, lizzie kate, ornaments, charity projects and possible other things.

Let me know what your plans are for next years stitching
