UFOs Found
While cleaning out a box I found a couple of UFOs - that I think I should start to finish up
These are from the Cross Stitch Calendar Pattern a Day (no longer made and I really miss them)
Turkey
Realized that it's just the background that needs to be done (total fill in), plus a few spots with just one stitch.
Ladybugs
A little more needed on this one.....but nice pattern to work on.

Flower of the Month SAL - January Progress
Well here is my progress - not very far - although I just start on week ago. I haven't been able to stitch every day as I would like.
I noticed that someone had started with the "frame" first and completed that - I wish I had done that first, so that it lays the rest out nicely.
I hope to finish within the first 2 weeks of February. I will be starting February's violets this weekend, so I don't get stuck at the last minute.

Smalls SAL 2015 - January
Well it's the first one of the year and I've completed stitching, but have to do the finishing.
I managed to do the stitching for 2 biscornus
Biscornu #1 - Piggy
Biscornu #2 - Tulips
I'm hoping to have them finished the first part of February.
I have a few of those $1 kits from Joanne's or Michaels that I hope to do for next months smalls.

Grow Your Blog Day
Well I thought if I have more followers it would be the job to put me over the top to stitch more and post about it.
I've been a stitcher (crafter for most of my life). Last year I didn't stitch much and decided this was the year were I had do some larger projects.
I've started small with some biscornu (I need to finish, but all the sides are stitch for pigs, teddies and tulips). I'm now stitching the Carnation for the Monthly Flower SAL on FB. I started yesterday and hope to have a picture up later today with some progress. I may have to be finished the first part of February.
I have planned to stitch this year - Frog Pile

I one of those that usually stitch one big one at a time, but may have to do 2 and rotate, since I have another patriotic kit I want to do this year.
I would love to have you follow my progress on how the stitching goes this year.
My goal is to post at least once a week with updates on stitching and of course if there is a scheduled posted needed for a SAL (Stitch-A-Long)
Thanks for the follow

About half way through the second side.
Now to figure out how to finish a biscornu.
2015 Flower of the Month SAL
2015 Flower of the Month SAL
What is it?
This will be a year-long SAL (stitch-a-long) for 2015. We are a group of stitchers interested in working on/finishing the flower of the month charts by EMS Designs throughout 2015, and cheering each other on during the year too.
Here's it works
You can sign up at any time during 2015 by visiting here (the rules post) and using the form located at the bottom of this post.
Once a month, work on one of the flower charts
Post a progress report at the end of the month/beginning of the following month. It can be about a new start, progress on an old start, or a finish. It's your choice!
Come back and post a link to your progress report on the monthly check-in post
It's that easy! This is a low-stress SAL, so if you miss a month, or don't want to do a certain chart, that's okay. You can even modify what order you work on the charts on.
For me, personally, I plan on starting a new month every month, but you can choose how and at what level you want to participate.
If you have a blog, you can post your progress pics on there. If you don't have a blog, you can join our Facebook group and post progress/discussions/encouragement over there.
Prizes
What's a SAL without prizes? There will a random drawing in January 2016 for stitching related prize(s) yet to be determined. This is how you earn entries for the drawing:
Signing up for the SAL on this page = 1 entry
Joining the Facebook group = 1 entry
Posting a monthly progress report and linking it back here = 1 entry per month you participate
Happy New Year 2015 - New Venture

I've been away for too long....
I've decided that I've got to get back to stitching. I stepped away while taking care of my dad in 2010, but I've got to get back to it for myself.
I hope to join several SAL and monthly events. I will be blogging more and sharing what the progress is.
I will be updating my To be Stitched list shortly. The previous list is so long and is so old most of the items are no longer valid or my thinking has changed.
I want to try some biscornus (never stitched before) and finish some UFOs that have been sitting around (just found them again when cleaning out a dresser).
Look forward to joining all of you in stitching more and not getting side tracked.
