Weekly Challenge for the week of 12-01-08

Weekly Challenge for the week of 12-1-08
The weekly challenge will remain Anything Christmas until after the holiday! Maybe you have a gift you need to stitch for Christmas (it does not have to be holiday related if it is a gift) or maybe you want to stitch another ornament or two. It's that time of year and maybe this challenge will help you get some Christmas stitching accomplished. Remember the challenges are not mandatory and only for fun and to help you stitch on projects that may otherwise be neglected. The challenges change weekly to accommodate different designs. If you wish to take part in the challenge, please let us know what project you will be working on.

Everyone did GREAT last challenge! Congratulations!!
You all did EXCELLENT on the SAT Friday night :) Congratulations! Keep stitching!! I am kinda MIA for now...I have so much to do and that I want to do at this time of year that computer time takes a back seat!! BUT, no worries-I KNOW who has posted a SAT update, Weekly challenge update as well as finishes :)

Stitch-a-thon for 11-28-08

Stitch-a-thon for 11-28-08

We will stitch from 6pm-midnight (according to your time zone).
Please let me know if you are joining the SAT and don't forget to let us know what project you will be working on and to post a before pic before 6pm on Friday night and an after pic once the SAT is over :)

Make sure you sign up here in this POST-you never know when I may offer a drawing or other incentive for those that take part in the SAT's and it's easier for me to find a list of participants when the names are together in a single post and I can add them to the sidebar. You do not need to post here if you are NOT joining :) Only those that are taking part need to post under this post :)

I know this is Thanksgiving weekend (Black Friday) in the USA, we may not have as many participants as we usually do-if you can't join us next Friday that's OK-we'll see you the Friday after :)

Stitching PIF

I signed up to a PIF that Donna is doing over the next 12 months so I in turn need some willing victims. In case you've not done one before the rules are really simple.

If you would like to receive something handmade by me sometime in the next 12 months then leave a comment saying so on this post and by doing so you're committing to do a similar offer on your blog. I'm offering this for 3 people and should I get more than that interested I will get my nephews (Andrew & Logan) to pull 3 names from a "hat".

I will leave this open until Sunday November 30th and post the winning recipients on Monday night.

PIF stands for Pay It Forward.
